Another THANKful post :)

(just a heads up, I wrote this last night. that statement will make more sense as you read on )

One of Millions I am sure.

But do not fret friends, I will add my usual ramblings.

I will though get the mundane out of the way.

I am thankful for:

my family.

my new (great) job.

my friends.

my best friend.

my new found confidence.
my God.

cellphones. They keep me in touch with my family that happen to not live in the same state as me.

I am truly thankful for so many things. Big and Small. By small I mean ven mechanical pencils. And shiny shoes..

Today has been awesome. Totally awesome. I had a great day at work. I am so ver thankful for my new found confidence. Usually I'm pretty shy and quiet the first few days at a new job but not here. Here I am me, right off the bat. Wel actually I am not quiet all me, I'm holding back on the sarcasm and smack-talk. ;) I am loving it though. I need to get a few things:

A huge stockpile of gel inserts.
Tape Measurer ,

Binder Pens,

Flats,

Shirts in certain colors,

Calculator...

And a watch! hahaha ugh! I love the thought of shopping but the action of shopping it's self is a pain. Especially when you shop alone.

I have a bunch of thankfulness for my best friend. Hmm where to start? He is amazing. He keeps me sain, always encorages me and hard on me when I need it. Not to mention he knows how to make me laugh.

And here is a little secret, I am thankful for all the guys in my life. Yes, they ARE all FRIENDS, several of whome I know would like more, but i am thank for them. They do offer me encouragement along with intellectual and meaningful conversations. Oh boy, well there are two oh boys here.

One:I almost sound like a tramp. "all the guys in my life" sheeze.

Two: Mom and I just got into a fight. She took a pain pill or two or whatever. And probably a glass of wine.

On a very honest and sober note I think I'm so honest on here because I don't think anyone actually reads this. But it helps me and I hope it may at some point help someone else.

(okay I'm skipping the rest of wht I wrote last night and am going to just talk about today. Sorry if this is confusing.)
I was completely planning on posting all of the above last night, but my moms laptop was acting up. The time here at my moms has been interesting. It has definitely stayed fun though. I handled my very first holiday all alone very well. :) Stayed positive the whole time and had a blast. My step sister didn't talk to me but I wasn't expecting much in that department. I've pretty much been watching football all day and I have never tweeted or been this internet active via phone in a long long time haha.

Mom and I fought last night about "our" wedding dress, My step dad actually stood up for me after slightly guilting be about the seperation. I LOVED seeing all of the family. Even had a great time with my PaPa!

Here are a few pictures!

A few more things I'm thankful for:

Football

Sweet Tator Casserole

Step Family

Laughter

and all of you :)

Have a great night and please be safe if you go out tomorrow!!

Amazing News

I was going to do a bit of a weekend recap, but then I realized it was only Saturday night. Sheesh lol

So I got the job at Ashley Furniture!! That was the amazing news I was holding out on you!! I went in the Tuesday before last and pretty well had the job right then, I only had to do my drug test and wait on my background check! And M the manager called me yesterday morning to tell me that they were waiting on my background check and that there and been a mix up with it. Then he called a few hours later and asked when I could start!! So I am going in early Monday to do paper work and start my first day!!

SOSOSOSOSO happy and it couldn't have come at a better time!! I pretty well lost my job at the Celtic this past wednesday. I'm okay with not working there, I was going to be putting my two weeks in after I heard from Ashley, but looks like God had other plans!

Not Gonna lie, I'm pretty distracted by my LSU game.

I just wanted you to know the big news. I'll fill ya in more later!

Have a great rest of the weekend!!

Rain Storm= Perfection!

This day has really been a good one! And it's only half way through!!

Woke up this morning in a good mood. Josh and I had fun walking the dogs. And my DEAR amazing friend Nicole invited me swimming tomorrow! Which is perfect because I have been really wanting to go. And to top it all off it is now storming!! My garden has needed the rain! Plus I'll be able to get the t post out of the ground. It even hailed a little! Not enough to finish totaling the car but hey every little bit helps! ;)

This weekend was a ton of fun! I hung out with a friend from high school and had a blast. We walked around down town talked and looked through a few shops. I even helped him find a few cuff links for his brother. My best friend and her family threw my a mini birthday party since they are going to be gone on my ACTUAL birthday! Love them! Her husband grilled and there was mac n cheese and mashed tators (the veggies for the night lol) Along with a very yummy cake!

Then her husband helped me get my nephews car seat properly in the car. They are amazing people, let me just tell you.

I watched my nephew all of Saturday night and part of Sunday. He was a great baby! And so precious!! The only bad part was that Joshua was at his parents all day Saturday. But he was a huge help Sunday when he got home. He moped, did dishes and even did some laundry along with helping me feed my adorable nephew Lane! It was all so cute!

Josh even cooked fillet mignon and some vegies on the grill for me.... I LOVE grilled food. I am so thankful his parents let us have their old one, now we can grill when there is snow on the ground!!

After church we went to an ice cream social and had even more fun!

Can I just say that I am so blessed and so thankful that God led us to this church? There are so many great people there and I love going to church and learning something new every Sunday. For example last night Pastor Brad spoke on the cost of worship and it really hit home that I haven't been giving God the time he deserves and when I do I haven't been giving him my full attention.

By the way Goblyn is so much better. He is pretty much his old self...sometimes a pain in the butt but hey I am so glad he is better! We are still giving him his meds though, he has like 12 more I think. As soon as we walked in the door from the social it was like he was a brand new dog, not at all the sick dog we had left only a few hours before. He is even eating....everything...again...

Gotta go! The rain stopped so nows the best time to get those posts!!

Today is a better day!

Goblyn does have parvo. And yesterday was a really hard and stressful day.

And I'm going to tell you about it because we don't read blogs for that same old mechanical stuff. The best ones are when real people talk about their real lives, so that's what I'm going to be doing from now.

Yesterday I wrote about how the vet bill may end up being $300. It turned out to be only $124, which as much of a blessing as that was it was also a little bit of a gut punch. We hadn't planned for that money to come out. So we are skating on ice. It seems like for every amazing blessing God has given me, the devil has provided substantial blows. But like I said yesterday the hardest part is usually before the end.

I cried in the vet office yesterday when they told me he was positive for parvo. I love the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic they were so patient and kind with me. Which in its self was a big help. I cam home and my best friend offered to take me to lunch and let me borrow her vacuum/shampooer which was such a big help! I love her and her family so much! I came home and started cleaning and felt so drained. I haven't felt that drained in a long time.

Joshua came home and was a big help. He finished shampooing the carpets and helped me take care of Goblyn. I know he loves me with out a shadow of a doubt and I know he knows I love him. Even if we don't always tell each other or get upset with one another, we will always have each other.

Then this morning I found out another dear friend of mine lost her job. Which I hate for her, but it actually helped me. She stayed so positive and kept her calm. And through encouraging her I realized I was saying the things I had forgotten. Like God has bigger and better things in store and he IS and ALWAYS will be in control.

One thing I keep forgetting is God will never give us something that is too big for HIM.

I leave you with that. Mull it over and chew on it. Let me know what you come with!

Day Six

And the world comes crashing down.

I'm obviously writing this early, it's about 830, so that early enough on a Saturday. Well we have over drawn our account. And I completely take the blame for it, I've been holding onto my insecurities and fears. Now look what it's done. So I am taking this as a pretty good sign from God that I need to step it up and be the woman he made me to be.

See I pray for boldness all the time and trust me I'm more bold than I was back in the day, but I still have stumbling blocks that I need to work over. Which I am going to do and I am going to make both God and my husband proud. From now on it's pedal to the medal, hitting the ground running kind of deal. If I want to be a Corporate Director(and honestly I want to go way farther than that) then I need to do something about it. I need to be the outgoing girl I really am and I need to get things going by taking the advice of those who have already succeeded before in this business. I'll make mistakes(like I did yesterday) but from every mistake I make I learn something and will not make that mistake again. That mistake will get me where I want to be.

Right now I am poor and there is nothing wrong with it. God would never put me in a situation that is too big for HIM. There is nothing he can't handle(obviously) and this is all just going to help me grow in him. Sure things are hard, but they won't always be. I won't let them.
'If GOD be fore me, then who can be against me?'
love it.

Also I have been slacking in my reading of the word, I was going to get up this morning at 6am and read but I just couldn't. I let me flesh get in the way, I was so tired and I really should have gotten up. So two night I will be spending two hours reading. No tv, no internet tv and no music with words, only classical.

Sorry I just had to get all of this off my chest! Don't worry there will be more later!

Goodmornin!

y the way! I wrote this yesterday but my blogging app would have none of me posting it!)
Okay so I know it's actually evening but I had a really good morning!

Let me show you why!:

See that!! That is my Zinnia's!! I have a WHOLE bunch of them sprouting! I can not tell you how excited I was and am! The only thing I'm worried about are my carnations. So far I haven't seen any of them sprout. But I did find 6 seeds that were hiding in the package! I planted them and my last Zinnia Seed that was hiding in it's package! I am so excited to see them all grow! I hope I get flowers before winter!!

Also my Ox Heart Is putting off a tomato! Yay! I finally found out why I haven't been getting anymore before now. The birds have been eating my blooms, I tried to fish that this morning though!

My basil is still doing so amazing! It is unbelievable how much is it growing!

My Strawberry plant has given me two more blooms!

The spearmint is also growing!
I'm just having trouble with these weird mushrooms around it. I pluck them all the time, but I'm having trouble making them go away(around most of the plants) I think it may be the soil I bought...

This is a picture of my zucchini! It is doing great! Two of the three survivors are doing just great!!! I really miss my cucumbers though..

Look! Another one from my lemon boy! It's just great how many tomatoes it is putting off right now!

That rain on the fourth was a huge blessing! Not only did I not have to get up to water my plants, but they seem to be doing great!(obviously lol)

What is my secret you ask??? God and Miracle Grow. It's the former more than the latter though...

Obsession

I have two obsessions right now:

1.)Finishing my story.
2.)An old abandoned hotel in down town Rogers.

I haven't blogged about this because well I don't know, I guess I don't want anyone stealing my idea, but here goes. While we were walking around down town Rogers for the Twilight Walk, I absolutely fell in love with an old hotel. I want it more than anything(almost anything). I mean I used to really really want the old Apollo Theatre on Emma in down town Springdale, but this pales in comparison to that. I mean, it is just beautiful. And I'm working on getting everything ready to purchase it. Hopefully Saturday Josh and I will be able to actually go INSIDE of it.

Another not ever talked about thing in my life: I write. I have since I was little. Heck I wrote stories before I knew how to write the abc's. Well about two are three years ago when Arkansas had that REALLY bad first snow storm? Josh was still in college, his last year, so I guess it was '08? Anyways that's when I started the one I am working on now.
I was pre-obsessed with masquerades and Maria Antoinette before I started to write, but this makes it all the worse. Which kind of hints at what time period I'm writing this in. Wish me luck, I set my own deadline for the end of June. Then I am sending it off to hopefully make it's way into a hard back book!

Here's a little bit of amazing praise to God: I was big by a something. First it looked like lime disease and then it looked like brown recluse. But since we can't afford doctor bills right now, we prayed. And I have not stopped praying and giving thanks for the healing God has given me!! It's pretty much gone! I might have a tiny scare, but probably not.

Out of the blue I decided to stop by mah old xanga! wow, talk about a trip down memory lane. It's crazy to see how much of a hopeless romantic I was. Xanga was totally the original blog spot, just sayin. Who knows maybe I'll make an appearance there once I remember my password. Do any of you seriously remember how obsessed we were with xanga? Now look where we are! Facebook, Twitter, Blogspot...

Anyways I've got to return a movie to blockbuster and pick up mah hubby!
Have a great night!

Praise to God!

I honestly can not tell you how amazing God is! Here, let me give you a little back story!

Josh and I are new home owners! And for any of you out there, even you who live in apartments, know that there will always be unexpected tid bits of life that cost money. Well this month we had more than usual and it definitely set us back a little. We had an order that had to be placed, and some how I COMPLETELY for got about it. Well, it was going to over draw us. I called customer service and asked them if there was anyway to post-pone the order until today, the very nice lady told me that as long as the order was made by 12pm mountain time we would get what we want and to make sure we call it in.

So! I get online this morning to get the product numbers of what we wanted to order and the server was way over loaded by other slackers! So once I was finally able to get online and complete the order, I didn't trust the site with the stall I'd been getting. (it had told me that I could complete last months order online) Which made me go ahead and call it in. I had been so stressed about this all night and this morning! The amazingly nice lady told me there was a credit to our account! And that credit made the amount that we would be charged LESS than what would over draw us!

I almost started crying! I called Josh to let him know and I was almost crying! God is absolutely amazing, there are so many things that He has absolutely bless my family with, even though we do not deserve it.

I had a bunch of things I was going to blog about today, but honestly, this is way more important and exciting than the rest of it!!!
