WeddingBee

I can honestly tell you that I have not been on WeddingBee in a long long long time. Also I can tell you quite honestly that I seriously had some anger towards the Bee for not being one of the Bees. And looking back I can see why I wasn't chosen: I didn't do a great job of describing the wedding plans and ideas. Not to mention I was a sketchy blogger(at the time I didnt have the time to blog as much as I wanted to.)
Although I sometimes feel like I shouldn't go back, it's really fun to help other brides or new wives with issues they may be having.

Not to mention I do still get the emails and LOVE all the ideas I see! I do copy and paste pictures onto a textedit for future party ideas! I know I'm horrible ;) But don't worry I won't be a complete copy-cat, I'll add my own little quirks!

Obsession

I have two obsessions right now:

1.)Finishing my story.
2.)An old abandoned hotel in down town Rogers.

I haven't blogged about this because well I don't know, I guess I don't want anyone stealing my idea, but here goes. While we were walking around down town Rogers for the Twilight Walk, I absolutely fell in love with an old hotel. I want it more than anything(almost anything). I mean I used to really really want the old Apollo Theatre on Emma in down town Springdale, but this pales in comparison to that. I mean, it is just beautiful. And I'm working on getting everything ready to purchase it. Hopefully Saturday Josh and I will be able to actually go INSIDE of it.

Another not ever talked about thing in my life: I write. I have since I was little. Heck I wrote stories before I knew how to write the abc's. Well about two are three years ago when Arkansas had that REALLY bad first snow storm? Josh was still in college, his last year, so I guess it was '08? Anyways that's when I started the one I am working on now.
I was pre-obsessed with masquerades and Maria Antoinette before I started to write, but this makes it all the worse. Which kind of hints at what time period I'm writing this in. Wish me luck, I set my own deadline for the end of June. Then I am sending it off to hopefully make it's way into a hard back book!

Here's a little bit of amazing praise to God: I was big by a something. First it looked like lime disease and then it looked like brown recluse. But since we can't afford doctor bills right now, we prayed. And I have not stopped praying and giving thanks for the healing God has given me!! It's pretty much gone! I might have a tiny scare, but probably not.

Out of the blue I decided to stop by mah old xanga! wow, talk about a trip down memory lane. It's crazy to see how much of a hopeless romantic I was. Xanga was totally the original blog spot, just sayin. Who knows maybe I'll make an appearance there once I remember my password. Do any of you seriously remember how obsessed we were with xanga? Now look where we are! Facebook, Twitter, Blogspot...

Anyways I've got to return a movie to blockbuster and pick up mah hubby!
Have a great night!

Twilight Walk!

I know this is five days late! But hey at least it's not as bad as my past posts!

The Twilight Walk was amazing! Sure we were two hours late but I LOVED what I got to see. I'm hoping for the next one we'll be more on time.

So! We stopped at the Hooka Java first and I was really surprised! All it is is water vapor! That's it. And let me tell you the Chia flavor they have taste like chia! I LOVE CHAI! You could probably say I'm addicted to it... Not the hooka the chia...especially tea! Oh! They also had samples of their coffee. I tried the Raspberry White Chocolate. It was also great! I mean really good!!! You can see more about it at my otha blog!

Then because Joshua was complaining about being hungry we stumbled upon The Bread-n-Butter Cafe! Also amazing and at my other blog!

It was just amazing to see what all is in the downtown area! I am so so glad God blessed us with a house so close to the downtown area! Even Josh told me he was so glad I insisted on living in Rogers. I mean there was this one artist who had some of his work next to the RLT (Rogers Live Theatre) and it was REALLY good. I seriously want some of for the office! We all had a great time, I just wish I would have taken more pictures! haha RW even drew a little on the side walk with chalk that was left for a sidewalk contest. I really cannot wait for the next one, the theme is Dog Walk, and I am SO bringing my puppies!!

aren't they adorable!?

By they way the funny looking one in front(Joshua's Dog), decided he wanted to start pushing down the fence to get out of the yard. Monday was his first day to do it. And look what he brought me back after they came back two hours later.

Yes, that's a scull. Very nice right?! So we had to go ahead and close the gate off and take back the extra space we'd given them.

Fathers day was tons of fun! We visited Josh's parents and got to see our niece and nephew! Little cutie pies! Then we went to visit my parents and went to the lake. Again I wish I had gotten more pictures. Jim-Dad caught the first fish, then let it go when mom thought she got bit and swallowed about a gallon of water. So Josh caught it again(big joke that there was only one fish in the lake.)

That fish broke the line, spit out the hook and spit the bait almost to the other side of the boat. Not to mention he tried to make a get away. I got the next catch!

Not the best pictures, but it was a stinking shell!! I was so excited!! Then I reeled it in the boat...I'm going to put it somewhere in the house... End table or entry way door. haha here's a sort of picture of my 80's outfit!

pretty nice right!

oops! Gotta head to work! Have a great day!

Going for the gold!

I started this morning off with a nice SuperSonic Breakfast burrito and half of a Butterfinger sonic Blast. Not the best idea I've ever had. Especially with all the sweets I've been eating lately.

So what's going to happen next is a weight loss goal. Last time I weighed I was at 132, my goal for the next two weeks is to be at a 122. Ten pound loss. Along with building the arms up a bit more, the stomach a bit flatter, the back more toned(I need to work on my back muscles especially for this coming hunting season), and definitely doing a lot of running. My goal is to run a marathon!! I actually do not know which one I am going to do yet!

But since my work out partner is now pregnant!!(Huge congrats to them!) I need a new work out partner! So I am on the hunt lol!

I slept in a little bit this morning and watered my plants along with a little bit of weed/rock pulling. Only to realize it was going to rain a lot sooner than I thought it would. My poor puppies are outside too! Tonight if it's not raining I will be doing more weed pulling(which get this, there are mushrooms trying to grow with my veggies!!) and some hoeing of the rest of the garden.

Pretty sure I figured out which marathon I'm doing! The Down and Dirty 5k! And I may even do some more this year!

My little brother is in town until monday and it's really exciting! I love catching up with him! We're going to the Twilight Walk tomorrow! Durn I can't find a good link for it!

Gotta run to the care and not get soaked so I can head to work!! Wish me luck haha

BOWLING!!

That is right! I went bowling last night for the first time in forever! Forever being 3years! This is what happened last time I went bowling:

Hmm I would show you a picture of a girl laying flat on her back from falling at the lane. But I can not find it anywhere!!

So last night was Rebecca's birthday! The big 13! So excited for her! She has the world ahead of her. It was a lot of fun! But my wrist started hurting at like the first part of the fourth game. Much! Better today though. Josh is still sore. Kinda funny to say my husband is sore from bowling!! I'm sure all you dedicated bowlers are thinking "Funny?? This is tough stuff!". Which it totally is.

My post yesterday would have been titled "Failure", but I am only part failure now! I do have a few pictures of my new hair, just none of my garden. Okay lets do hair first!

can you tell he loves me??
me and the birthday girl!

I will of course have more pictures later!

Now to the garden! I have my tomatoes planted, even had to put one in half so that it would still survive! My squash and zucchini are now planted along with my spear mint. I'm thinking about putting a tree in the middle with some stone work going through the garden and a possibly a fruit tree! The fruit tree would be right next to the bench. All I have to do now is talk Josh into it.

By the way I was hoeing a spot for my spearmint yesterday and was trying to get a weeds base out. The thing was HUGE! And the above ground part was very small! It was like 2 1/2 in diameter and 3in tall! The base!! Next time I come across one I will take pictures! Then I got a horrible sun burn on my back trying to get a HUGE rock out of one of my tomato holes. I decided I would dig the hole deeper to hopefully help out the tomato(its a yellow tear drop that the dogs almost killed with their tails! Josh's favorite quote now is "There is a rock. And I hate it." Like seriously we're mortal enemies.

I have several things I'm wanting to plant now! Exciting!

Praise to God!

I honestly can not tell you how amazing God is! Here, let me give you a little back story!

Josh and I are new home owners! And for any of you out there, even you who live in apartments, know that there will always be unexpected tid bits of life that cost money. Well this month we had more than usual and it definitely set us back a little. We had an order that had to be placed, and some how I COMPLETELY for got about it. Well, it was going to over draw us. I called customer service and asked them if there was anyway to post-pone the order until today, the very nice lady told me that as long as the order was made by 12pm mountain time we would get what we want and to make sure we call it in.

So! I get online this morning to get the product numbers of what we wanted to order and the server was way over loaded by other slackers! So once I was finally able to get online and complete the order, I didn't trust the site with the stall I'd been getting. (it had told me that I could complete last months order online) Which made me go ahead and call it in. I had been so stressed about this all night and this morning! The amazingly nice lady told me there was a credit to our account! And that credit made the amount that we would be charged LESS than what would over draw us!

I almost started crying! I called Josh to let him know and I was almost crying! God is absolutely amazing, there are so many things that He has absolutely bless my family with, even though we do not deserve it.

I had a bunch of things I was going to blog about today, but honestly, this is way more important and exciting than the rest of it!!!
