Wednesday Short Story

Is it really Wednesday already? This just doesn't seem right. :/

Bit of a recap for you:

  • I have been beyond horribly addicted to music lately. Of all kinds.
  • Josh and I had a small tiff Monday night, I had a friend who really needed a friend so I went to make sure they were okay. At midnight. Hey I couldn't sleep anyways, and yes it may not have been the smartest decision. I can see you already shaking your head lol
  • I had a stress break down yesterday. Duchess was acting sick(I was getting scared she had parvo) and that on top of everything else pushed me over the edge.
  • Because my FAFSA still hasn't been awarded, or my student loans, I was dropped from my classes. So that caused some more crying.
  • I've decided to be come a bartender. They make great tips and people are going to drink anyways, regardless of who is their bartender. Of course I have to wait a year for this to come into effect but oh well lol

I'm actually going to go and get my classes RE registered! Woohoo this'll be fun!

Hope you have a great day!

More Organization!

Well first off let me tell you that I wrote a few more pages in one of my books! But I am starting to worry that I'm ruining the whole thing, I've never actually finished one of my books. Or gotten this close to the end... eek!

So yesterday I was inspired again. This time it was Martha Stewart.

the before

the after

the before, I actually took a few things out before taking this pict!

the after!

yay me. I am gettin mah house in order!

Well I'm hoping for a busy day today. So far on my plate: going to the gym, vacuuming the car, having lunch with Josh, possibly meeting with a friend, possibly having dinner with a friend...But I need something to fill the slots in between.

I leave you with a video of my dogs! Please excuse the messy room(it was laundry time).

Day Four

And the UBER excitement is on!

I heard back from NWACC yesterday, the financial adviser. She gave me the info I needed and a few attachments to help me with pay for college. So taking care of #98 is in the process. Not going to lie I am a little nervous, but I can't wait to get it over with.

I found some Bob and Toms that I love.

So many shoes so little money!! I really do love both the Bobs and the Toms because I have heard great reviews about both brands and both donate a pair of shoes when you buy a pair. I'm hoping to buy a pair or two when I go up to Minneapolis! So #99 you better watch your back!

Today has been fun! I went to a puppy play date with a high school friend of mine, the best part is I don't think we ever spoke to each other as much as we did today when we were in high school. Kind of sad kind of funny. I was totally going to get a picture of him picking up his dogs poop, but Fonzi kind of played a joke. He acted like he was going potty for like 3minutes and when my friend went over there he couldn't find it. So I though I would try to help...I couldn't find it either. So we had a conversation about doggy poo, it was great.

This is how pathetic Goby was afterwards. It was fun though! We were pretty much the ONLY people/dogs there and even though it was horribly hot it was fun. Goby was much more well behaved then I thought he would be(that my be because of the heat though... :/ ) But in all seriousness it's amazing how much the heat can drain you, we are both just lazing around!

Well, I've got to get some dishes done! Hope your day was exciting!

Independence Day Weekend!

I really hope that everyone had a great holiday weekend! Here's a quick recap of mine:
We went to Josh's parents after he got off work. There were supposed to fireworks at the Huntsville Ball park, but there was none. It was sad. But I had a GREAT time with my sister and brother in law and their kids! My mother and father in law did a great job cooking! It was so much fun!

Sunday we went to church and the kids were so great and cooperative! I even got one little girl to pick up one set of toys before playing with the next set! Then that night we got rangled into coming for the cook out!! Josh made the burgers, I helped with the food!

Monday we went to my moms and had a good time! I am so glad I got to catch up with my sister and see her little boy again! It was a lot of fun. Her boyfriend and his sister were great, I'm really glad I got to meet them! And spending time with my uncle was also a lot of fun! He gave me tips on cooking and we talked about recipes and life.
We didn't watch fireworks at moms but on the way home we saw plenty! Not to mention the street was full of people shooting fireworks. There is something wrong with me though, I love that sulfer/gunish powder smell from the fireworks!

Poor Duchess was so scared of all the noise, she didn't come home until about three when all the fireworks where over. I was really worried but I am so thankful she is okay. We need to get her a wormer pill though and if that doesn't work then we'll be taking her to a vet!
Gobby surprised me though! He stayed at the house and when I let him in the garage with Josh and I while he was working on his bike, Gobby stayed with us and fell asleep with all the fireworks. He is pretty much not afraid of anything.

Hope you have a great rest of the day!

Twilight Walk!

I know this is five days late! But hey at least it's not as bad as my past posts!

The Twilight Walk was amazing! Sure we were two hours late but I LOVED what I got to see. I'm hoping for the next one we'll be more on time.

So! We stopped at the Hooka Java first and I was really surprised! All it is is water vapor! That's it. And let me tell you the Chia flavor they have taste like chia! I LOVE CHAI! You could probably say I'm addicted to it... Not the hooka the chia...especially tea! Oh! They also had samples of their coffee. I tried the Raspberry White Chocolate. It was also great! I mean really good!!! You can see more about it at my otha blog!

Then because Joshua was complaining about being hungry we stumbled upon The Bread-n-Butter Cafe! Also amazing and at my other blog!

It was just amazing to see what all is in the downtown area! I am so so glad God blessed us with a house so close to the downtown area! Even Josh told me he was so glad I insisted on living in Rogers. I mean there was this one artist who had some of his work next to the RLT (Rogers Live Theatre) and it was REALLY good. I seriously want some of for the office! We all had a great time, I just wish I would have taken more pictures! haha RW even drew a little on the side walk with chalk that was left for a sidewalk contest. I really cannot wait for the next one, the theme is Dog Walk, and I am SO bringing my puppies!!

aren't they adorable!?

By they way the funny looking one in front(Joshua's Dog), decided he wanted to start pushing down the fence to get out of the yard. Monday was his first day to do it. And look what he brought me back after they came back two hours later.

Yes, that's a scull. Very nice right?! So we had to go ahead and close the gate off and take back the extra space we'd given them.

Fathers day was tons of fun! We visited Josh's parents and got to see our niece and nephew! Little cutie pies! Then we went to visit my parents and went to the lake. Again I wish I had gotten more pictures. Jim-Dad caught the first fish, then let it go when mom thought she got bit and swallowed about a gallon of water. So Josh caught it again(big joke that there was only one fish in the lake.)

That fish broke the line, spit out the hook and spit the bait almost to the other side of the boat. Not to mention he tried to make a get away. I got the next catch!

Not the best pictures, but it was a stinking shell!! I was so excited!! Then I reeled it in the boat...I'm going to put it somewhere in the house... End table or entry way door. haha here's a sort of picture of my 80's outfit!

pretty nice right!

oops! Gotta head to work! Have a great day!

Vacation, you left too soon

We are officially back from Branson. Well actually that happened yesterday but still.

Some of our amazing church family invited us on a trip to Branson this past weekend and we had a bast. We went shopping, so not only did I get some really good deals at Old Navy(85dollars for 10pieces of clothes=$8.50 a piece= not bad!!), I got some exercise in! It was walking but still, that's not bad!
Hubby got some clothes, I got some clothes, so it ended pretty well. Not to mention, he found a watch he like and I found a wallet AND purse!! woo-hoo! Granted we didn't get them...yet. We get discounts online and cash back so we decided to go with that route for that store(Fossil).
Enough about shopping! It was a really nice little condo thing we got to stay in(Diamond Resort) and it was great to just relax. There was no wi-fi unless you wanted to buy it, which we didn't. So no technology but our phones and the tv! We watch Animal Planet almost the whole time. I really really want a Newfoundland doggie!
Really the only draw back to the weekend, was how cold and windy was!!

Well I've got to go and get a few things ready before I head of to lunch with the Mister! Hope you have a great day!
