Hospitals can be pretty stupid...

So I know posted about Mr. Bobby getting sick well that night it was my turn! All day I'd had a head ache and my stomach was a little queasy but I had attributed that to the not eating for so long and the so little sleep. But around 830 it hit. Mr. Bobby had me go take a shower to help my head and just in case I did get sick it would go down the drain. Well he says I was in there about and hour(but it didn't feel like it) at the end when the water finally did get cold i got sick. Took about twenty minutes for Mr.bobby to talk me into going to the hospital. Well we we're there until 7in the morning. And I was not a happy camper. I'll leave out the details but the combined time that they took my vitals, my blood and I actually had "my" nurse come see me, then "my" doctor see me totaled to about an hour to an hour and a half....at most two. Now I'm not saying there were not more important things going on but out in the actually ER room there were people who had been there longer than I had. It was just a stupid situation. I was happy that they took care of a little girl with a105 temp. And a little boy, I think, had a concussion, but they weren't very quick with him.

Oh I also found out I am not pregnant! lol

Any ways, I"m thinking of doing this with the center pieces:

and having the bible verses be in the background...

I also found these yummy little treats on brides.com. They are little carmalized cranberries and now I just need a recipe for them.

half a tank of gas and a ticket

Night before Last is one I hope to never repeat ever. Under any circumstances.

Mr. Bobby got very very very sick. He was also down in little rock. About 4 to 3 hours away. And I drove them in about 2and a half. Then got lost for about an hour trying to find the hotel and the hospital. We didn't get out of the ER until four in the morning. I got about four and a half hours of sleep total.

He got about twelve or so hours of sleep. And is in LockDown. Not to mention cousin/roommate is also sick. I'm proud of the Mister because he is getting better pretty fast, with a little help from me. Who is constantly asking if he's okay, getting him water and spending over 14$ on soup. [:

We can home last night and the trip took about 3and a half hours. I went about five over the speed limit because I was not going to wake Mr.Bobby up or make his tummy sick!

But of course the heroine doesn't always have an easy battle. My tummy is a little uneasy. I think it's because until last night I hadn't really eaten anything. So about it had been about 36hours til I eat and smart me had a breakfast burrito and a reeses sonic blast. It was the blast that got me. All that sugar, which is not good for your immune system....

Oh yeah! before I forget! On the way down to little rock I was doing 95 for a while. Low and behold there is a car driving down the side of the road I decided to slow down since I have no idea what they are doing. I get closer and its a state trooper. And of course I get pulled over. But he clocked me going 84. I told him my reason for speeding with horribly shaky hands while looking for the insurance card. Not going to lie it was a very scary night. My husband was in the ER with severe stomach pains and throwing up. After being pulled over I of course slowed down and it seemed like every mile took five minutes. But when I got there Mr. Bobby was out. very very drugged asleep. It took half an hour for some one to tell me what was going on. Turned out he only had a very serious stomach bug but if the stomach pain didn't go away he was supposed to go back to the hospital because it might be appendicitis.

So far so good....

Yay, It's so beautiful!

Okay I have to show you what I am gloating about! ready??

what is it you ask?

A Sicilian spinach pie! I made it from scratch! yes, I am a lil suzy home maker! And I am proud! haha It was a beautiful golden brown, just perfect. And the mister made a perfect steak!

okays now we will hit the wedding!
The and made the decision that we are going to MAKE our own wedding invites. Paper and all! Here are the stamps we bought!!!
so here are a few of the stamps we will be using on our homemade invites! (can you tell I was cooking? lol) The first one will be the top and bottom boarders. The second I'm not quite sure where it will go but we loved it to much to leave it at hobby lobby. And the third will be for the RSVP card! Now, I need a blender and a framed screen.....

So I am on the hunt for another bridesmaid. I had one kinda quit on me which I am not mad about in the least! She usually does a summer camp and I was really not expecting her to pay to fly back here just for the wedding. But who knows, maybe I'll just have an MOH and one BM. Which wouldn't be to big of deal. Which reminds me, I need to start looking for gifts for the bridal party....

Studying For the ACT

I actually miss math class. To bad I didn't actually study the last time I took one, I probably would have made a much better score and not have to worry about taking it again. But that was my own cocky fault. I thought that since I made a pretty good score the first time the second wouldn't be hard. I was right but I didn't make a good enough, so here I am hating math all over again.

A tradition I would love to incorporate!: The anniversary dance; you can ask all couples or just married ones to the dance floor you then have the dj ask all couples who have been together less that___ years to have a seat. It keeps going until there is only one couple left. You pick the increments( 5 or 10years). One version is to present them with the bridal bouquet, but I think that we will make a bouquet very similar to mine. I'm really wanting to incorporate our grandparents because they mean so much to us.

My Baby Got a Mac

That is right ladies and gentlemen. Now all we have to do is get mine and my camera. I am really happy for him; now he can record himself while he is study his music and playing songs. I'm kinda hoping he will play a song at the wedding. One that HE wrote, not one keith urban wrote.
But either way I will still like it.

I might attempt some marzipan or fondant flowers like this one

And I've already got some really pretty fake flowers to put around the cakes kind like these:

But don't forget they will be single tiers. (ps doesn't that cake stand look beautiful and antique-y?)

Franken-box

I don't think I can tell you just how excited I am...

I just had my first wedding baby! A card box. Which looks a lil more like a franken-box, but I am so happy. My first project! And I get to show you! Plus the mister helped out! He got me tape, he marked a few spots and even took a picture. Not to mention he put in some input.

are you ready?

here's the beginning. I found just the right sized box, taped it up and cut a small whole that was big enough for cards.

the first corner I tried to cover. Which of course, ended up being covered three more times.

I used wrapping paper my Grandma had used to wrap some pots and pans she sent us. I used our cutting board, exacto knife and a tiny ruler. (Here you see the naked franken-box lol)
A little more wrapping...
About 80% done...
Ahh my lil Franken box! It took about an hour and a half to do. I cut a slit in the paper so they can easily slide in the cards. Plus it would have been murder to remove that little slit and it be ruined. I'm planning on putting a ribbon/bow on it also.
It's like a tiny little weight is of my shoulders!
And we got napkins! Paper ones, which will be okay but I did want to go with cloth(reuseable). Heres what gave me a lil inspiration for the paper ones:DIY vintage inspired bark centerpieces wedding Missouri Kansas City

We are totally have that little piece of wood too!

#3 is done

Sort of.

There are about 60 give or take one or two, but I still feel like I'm missing a few people so of course I'm going to have to go over it again. Actually I think we forgot about 10 haha way to go us! Tomorrow we are going to go talk to Festivities and see about the tent and chairs and things like that. Just kidding we're doing it Wednesday before church.

Oh a side note my husband has insisted that I watch all of the Lord of the Rings since I've never have. It's been a three day trek thank God we are on the last one. We just got to the part of the big spider, I hate spiders.

I really hate spiders.

Anyways. I'm trying to decide on how to do the table numbers. We're using wine bottles but I'm not sure on how to do the design on the labels. Maybe fancy intricate crosses or penguins! It would be cute and slightly ironic since the wedding will be in July! I'm alos thinking about haveing flowers in them, as if they were a type of vase. Then again I may just have regular old numbers on them.

Posting sucks with no pictures...

My wedding check list...

Okay. I have no pad of paper around me along with no pen, so i'm going to type these so I do not forget them...ready set go.

1. Talk to the people about the field
2. Find a cheap place to rent chairs, tables and a tent. And maybe a floor depending on how hard or soft the ground is
3. Finish the new guest list
4. Make a list of people to work the food and drink stations
5. Get the basic of the invites done
6. Get the table numbers done
7. Put my massively large checklist up

Trust me there are more, I'm just getting distracted. Oh, and until I can get my laptop working I will not really be able to post any of my pictures. I'm not entirely sure when it will be fixed but hopefully soon. So, I apologize for the lack of color in my post!

The new Year...

So, here are my resolutionsss...

1. Make my husband healthy
2. Finish wedding things. Well get more of the things done
3. Go to college
4. Get some people into melaleuca
5. Start my etsy selling
6. (This should actually be number zero) Get closer to God
7. Read the Bible more(that of course goes with number zero)
8. Finish one of my books(yes I write)
9. Keep everything clean(including the car)
10. Work on my anger problems

I usually make sure to have 10 so if you couldn't tell I started fishing toward the end. I saw a beautiful arrangement of carnations and other flowers and I think I could mix them with babies breath. They were pink of course. I am still in my search for the mini envelopes. But great news!! We found a photographer! And his work is pretty good!
